The wilderness where we are located, with hundreds of miles of trails through the Sandilands Provincial Forest, hills and valleys to adventure, either by atv, on bike or on foot is considered by many to be God's Country!  You will discover hidden creeks, enchanting cedar forests and of course all sorts of wildlife. 

 

We have created  two  man-made lake with fresh water, with a sandy beach to relax on and catch some rays. We like to get together for bomber games, bingo, and we plan fun events such as Halloween in August, Margaritaville, International Beer Fest, Wing nights, Beach Olympics and Canada Day Parade and Fireworks to name a few.  

 

We have a Candy and Ice Cream Shoppe and The Boardwalk Grill offers items like hamburgers, fries, pizza, and mouth watering poutine.  Great Sunday drive destination for a Soft-serve sundae or cone.  Friday, Saturday and Sunday we offer weekend specials.  Homemade and reasonably priced food.  There is a sunny roof-top patio that offers a relaxing spot overlooking the beautiful beach and campground.

 

There is a fun kid's play area, a pergola with misting sprays, floating picnic tables and a fun play structure in the water with slides and diving boards.  

 

As we grow, more amenities will be added and improvements are in the works at all times.                                                                                                                 

This summer come and pick blueberries in your backyard, have a refreshing swim and relax with drink by a roaring bonfire.  Come and put down roots at the Twisted Root!
